Free presentation maker, offline and without an account

OpenTempl makes slides you design yourself, opens PowerPoint files, and presents them with speaker notes. It is free, it works offline and it needs no account. It is not an AI deck generator: you choose the layout and write the words.

What you can do

• Start from a slide template or a blank 16:9 page. Styles that suit decks: corporate clean, dark tech, academic, Swiss grid.
• Open a .pptx file. Text stays editable with its bold and coloured words. Shapes, pictures, backgrounds, theme colours, fonts and speaker notes come across.
• Add charts from a pasted spreadsheet, tables, icons, photos and video clips.
• Animate with page transitions and entrance animations.
• Present full screen with autoplay, or with the presenter view and notes on a second screen.
• Export PowerPoint with editable text, PDF, MP4 video or GIF.

What does not come across

Charts, tables and SmartArt in PowerPoint files are not imported yet. Fonts that are not available get a close match, for example Calibri comes in as Carlito. Check the slides after you open them.

Why use it offline

You can present from a laptop with no wifi, with the deck and its fonts already on the machine. Open it once while connected so the fonts you use are stored.
